Prof. Xie joined the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University in 1993 and was promoted as an Associate Professor in 1998. He has been a visitor at Judge Institute of Management Studies, University of Cambridge, UK (1995-1996,2002); Harvard Business School, USA (2002,2004,2006,2007), Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis, USA (2000,2016), RWTH Aachen University, Germany (2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020). He served as Guest Associate Professor at University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2001.
